Our Scientific & Investment Advisory Board (SIAB) is comprised of leading medical experts in oncology and industry experts in clinical development and biostatistics. The SAB ensures that candidate projects meet the highest standards of science as well as medical needs. The Board provides them with unique support.

Our Board of Directors is responsible for the strategic leadership and governance of the foundation. The Board is comprised of prominent business leaders, experts in Finance and R&D management. The board carefully monitors the sustainability of the foundation.

Our Operational Team is comprised of entrepreneurs with a long track record. Management ensures the optimal functioning of our foundation.

Rudy Dekeyser

Since 2012 Rudy is managing partner of the LSP Health Economics Fund, a private equity fund investing in late stage European and North American health care companies. Prior to joining LSP, Rudy has been co-founding and managing director of VIB (Flanders Institute for Biotechnology), where he was also responsible for the intellectual property portfolio, business development and new venture activities. He obtained a Ph.D. in molecular biology at the University Ghent. He holds non-executive director positions in Curetis AG (Germany), Sequana Medical AG (Switzerland), Celyad SA (Belgium) and Remynd NV (Belgium), and held non-executive director positions in Devgen NV, CropDesign NV, Ablynx NV, Actogenix NV, Pronota NV, Flandersbio VZW, Bioincubator Leuven NV and Multiplicom NV. He is a co-founder of ASTP (the European associations of technology transfer managers) and current Chairman of EMBLEM (EMBL’s business arm). Rudy has been advisor to several seed and venture capital funds and to multiple regional and international committees on innovation.

Prof. Dominique Bron (1955)

Nick McCooke (1954)

"Serial entrepreneur" in the field of biotechnology for 25 years. Nick Mc Cook is now an independent consultant providing operational consulting, strategic and commercial biotech companies. Currently, member Chairman of the Board of BioGazelle Council member DNA Electronics UK and Trustee of the "Medical Research Association Chamber, UK

Vincent G. Brichard

Vincent G. Brichard, MD, Ph.D., MBA, is consultant in immuno-oncology and vaccines. He joined LSP in 2015 as a Venture Partner. He was formerly Senior Vice President and member of the Executive Team of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and headed the Business Unit for Immunotherapeutics. He is member of scientific advisory boards and supervisory boards of several European life sciences companies active in the fields of immuno-oncology, vaccines and diagnostics. He authored more than a 100 research manuscripts in leading international journals. He studied medicine at the Louvain University in Brussels and Institute Curie in Paris, received his Ph.D. in tumor immunology at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in Brussels and had the position of a Professor of Oncology at Louvain University, Brussels. He also holds an executive MBA from Harvard Business School. Vincent lives in Belgium with his wife and 3 children.
