The 9th edition of the Fournier-Majoie Foundation’s Friends Day gathered together more than sixty members, laureates and friends of the Foundation around the theme: “Valorization in order to encourage and promote entrepreneurship”.
Five high-quality presentations for their content as much as their didactic value – assessed by the participants 4.5 on a scale from 0 to 5 – highlighted key aspects to take into account during the valorization process, from the discovery up to the launch on the market of a new diagnostic in cancerology.
The second part of the day, was dedicated to a negotiation workshop on the negotiation of a license agreement - five tables each putting face to face two negotiating teams (academic/industrial) – was a huge success. While applying the lessons learned from the presentation: "License contracts: main clauses highlights" (Christel Brion), the participants raised their awareness on the negotiation technique and realized the necessity to be actively
prepared. It is because of this success that a “workshop” will be put again at the agenda of the next edition of the Fournier-Majoie’s Friends Day.
The most heartfelt thanks are addressed to all the participants of this day: presenters and members of the audience.
